Hello! My name is Mr. Patrick O'Neill, and this is my 3rd year of teaching after having graduated from West Chester University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education on Piano. Along with playing the piano, I also play the violin and trumpet. I love what I do! Getting to make music every day and shape young musicians is a privilege, and every child deserves to have a meaningful musical experience. Not only are we learning about music, but we are learning about life. Outside of teaching, I have performed with several ensembles, including West Chester University's Symphony Orchestra, West Chester University's Mastersingers, the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, West Chester University's Concert Band, and West Chester University's Keyboard Honors. A few of my favorite performances include playing Dvorak's New World Symphony at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Shostakovich's First Symphony, and Brahms' Second Symphony. Outside of school, I love to spend time with friends and family, swimming, spending time outdoors, and going to the Phillies and Sixers games! If I had to pick a different career, it would be either a sports trainer or a math teacher. My favorite places that I have visited are Los Angeles and Minneapolis! Have a question? You can email me at: [email protected] |
